A busy end to my trip!

Last week was such a wonderful way to end the amazing LA adventure that I was so lucky to go on! On Saturday I had a magazine photo shoot. It was pouring rain and the shoot was out side, it was so much fun! Rain is my favorite weather:). It was for an editorial spread, so it was very, very high fashion . They actually made it look like I had no eye brows which was pretty unique! I had 7 looks and very intense hair and make up, so the shoot took about 8 hours. Everyone in the crew was super talented and we all had a lot of fun together, I am very, VERY excited to see the pictures! I got a peak at a few but unfortunately I can't post them online before their published or I will get in a lot of trouble.

On Sunday I was in a Jackson Guthy music video!! Jackson Guthy is said to be the next Pop sensation. He is 17 and ultra talented, I was so lucky to get picked to be in the video! The video was in this AMAZING ranch in Santa Barbra. It was on top of a mountain and looked over the ocean, I was in love it was my dream house. Really all I had to do for the video was dance and act like I was having a lot of fun at a "high school party". The funny thing about is everyone was about 21 except for me, we all just looked like we were really young. The whole crew rocked and I became friends with a lot of amazing people! It was so cool hanging out with actors vs. models. They are SO different from each other! They aren't bad differences, just very obvious. Models are a little more calm and very put together where actors are still put together but like to be loud...VERY loud! We got yelled at a few times because we were behind the scenes playing patty cake due to extreme boredum and we got too loud..oops! For some reason they let Jackson choose the food for the whole crew, so being a 17 year old boy he picked candy, soda and fruit snacks. We were on set for about 10 hours, so by the end we we shriveled up with hunger. As we were walking to the shuttle to take us back to LA we walked by a pizza man. We happily stole Jacksons pizza and have a feast on the drive back. This was my first acting job, so I was really nervous. Luckily my impeccable dance skills helped me blend in perfectly, just kidding. But really it wasn't that bad. The video should be out soon and I will be sure to post in the minute its published!!

The day after the video, Monday, My mom, dad and I went to Disneyland! It was a very eventful day. I convinced my parents to stay until midnight to get the completely Disney experience. We went on nearly every ride, some even twice, and were all in a coma the next day. It was the Disney hang over, it was pretty awful actually.

On Tuesday we ate lunch at a Famous hot dog stand called Pinks Hot Dogs. It just happened to be the day that Leeza Gibbons was there presenting her "featured" hot dog. My dad gladly ordered her hot dog and got to be interviewed for her TV show! That will be airing in March, and I will be sure to put it up here when it does. He had a pretty spiffy hot dog speech.

On Wednesday I had an audition for a BMW commercial.  I am still very new to acting, and to say the least I do not think I got the job. My instructions were simple; just sit on the chair and act like I was in the front seat of the car driving some place really cool. The casting director told me to just say some simple dialogue that I would say if I were sitting in the car. He also told me that at some point of the audition I should act like my favorite song came on the radio. I walked in with a LOT of confidence completely convinced that I would get the job, but then I got a little bit nervous. I sat down and had a complete brain fart and had no idea what to say, so I screamed “Look, a UFO!!” and pointed out of the imaginary window. I realized what I just said and started to laugh, then eventually re-settled and continued to ride my fold-up chair BMW. I then said “ugh this drive is so long, but at least I am in this luxurious BMW” and followed that by a convincing eye brow raise. After that, it was time to turn on the music. I reached my hand forward and pretended to crank up the tunes. I head bobbed so hard that my neck was actually sore for a while afterwards. I got the standard “thank you, we will be in touch” as I left the casting and am very confident that they were not impressed, but that’s okay! It was an experience that I will be reminded of each time I get into my moms beemer.

Shortly after Wednesday came Thursday which was Thanksgiving. We ate dinner at Kailey's boyfriends' house in Fallbrook (Orange County). It was delicious, and I had a lot of fun hanging out with Eric's little brothers. His whole family is really amazing and I am so happy Kailey found such a great guy.

I was planning on going back home to Colorado on December 1st , but a job that I had planned for got delayed which allowed us to come home earlier. We have been driving since yesterday and I will be home by tonight! I am so blessed that I got to have such an amazing experience in Los Angeles. My mom, dad, sister, agents, and all of the other incredible people in my life are the reason that I could have such a perfect adventure and I am so thankful for that. Los Angeles was a memory that will last my entire life and I can't wait for the other modeling memories that will be created in the future. It was bitter sweet leaving LA. I am ridiculously home sick, but I am also so sad to be leaving such an incredible city behind. Every great thing comes to an end, and I'm happy to say that that was only the beginning of so many more experiences. As of right now there are no official plans for the Spring, but Asia and New York are in big consideration right now. Thank you so all of those amazing people in my life supporting my career, you are all so amazing :). This is NOT my last blog! I will update on jobs I do in Colorado, published work from LA, and what ever path I take in the future. <3

Hot Topic and Cerisier

I have had such an amazing past 2 days! Yesterday I got called in the morning for a company called Cerisier, a Japanese hair brush company. They called me so last minute because the model that they hired had short hair, and they needed long hair for that particular shoot. I woke up and zoomed over to their studio. The shoot was really fun! It was mostly beauty shots and videos. The videos will be on a commercial in Japan! The whole crew was pretty laid back but still really fun. They brought an "authentic japanese lunch" for us...I'm not sure what I ate, but I didn't feel good for the rest of the night ha, but I survived! I haven't seen any of the pictures from yesterday and can't wait to see them! Shortly after the shoot, my agent called me and said that I got a direct booking from the company Hot Topic, I was so so so excited! I barley slept at all last night because I have never worked for such a big brand. My call time was 9am but then morning my mom checked her email and it got switched to 8:30, and in LA, 30 minutes can make a HUGE difference because of traffic! We rushed out of the condo as fast as possible and were on our way. I think my mom was going to throw up with nerves and stress when we pulled up to a truck loading zone at 8:25, luckily Hot Topic was in the same building just down the parking lot a little bit. The building was so cool! It was huge and the security was super high. Everything was really animated and gothic, something completely different than what I am used to, but it was surprising to see that not one of the employees were gothic! The studio was in the back of their huge marketing headquarters. They had 3 studios actually, we were in the medium sized one (still quite large). They started my hair and make up almost immediately. The unique thing about Hot Topic is for their catalog they shoot it lips down, so my eyes did not make it in any of the shots. As you could imagine, that made make up really easy. All they did was put lip stick on me and my makeup was all set. My hair had a completely different story. They wanted pink hair, so they put water and chalk in it. The hair stylist literally divided my hair up in to a ton of tiny little strands, got each strand wet with water and rubbed the painting chalk all over it. My hair feels like sand paper, but it's pink so it looks cool. She warned me that blonde hair some times absorbs the color of the chalk, I guess I'll find out tomorrow morning if that happened :P. I wore about 50 different outfits, I was puckered out by the end! Catalog is pretty fun but it gets a little boring because your poses are confined in a little box which doesn't allow much movement, and they have to be pretty generic. Editorial and lifestyle are much more fun. I was at the shoot for almost 7 hours and really enjoyed it! I am so thankful to have gotten the opportunity to work with such an awesome brand! I am so happy and loved working for them! After the shoot my mom picked me up and we walked around the star walk at hollywood and got some dinner. When we got back we rode up the elevator with a really sick woman who informed us that she was sick because there has been a body in the apartment next to her for about 5 weeks that was just discovered, it's so freaky! Luckily it is nowhere near our condo, but it is still in the same building which kind of freaks me out. He died of natural causes so that means there are no murderers in our building, thank goodness! I feel really bad for the man and hope he is safely in Heaven! On a complete opposite, happier note, I have a casting for a music video tomorrow and a full day of school unless another job comes up. My dad is coming to LA on Friday and on Saturday night I am in a Runway show! I go home in just over a week I can not wait!! :)

November 12

Yesterday was my 17th birthday. I got to go to Disney Land with my best friend Jane and her parents, my awesome friend Ricardo, and my mom:). It was such an incredible birthday! I had so much fun and am super sleepy today! I am so blessed to have so many amazing people in my life! I got a polaroids camera for my birthday, and I am obsessed with it! Once I figure out how to clearly scan the photo's I will upload them on to here. Thank you for all of those who sent me such incredible birthday wishes!

Last week I did several test shoots with Douglas Robert. He is such an amazing photographer and I am so excited about the pictures he took! Here are a few of them!

I also did my first ever shoot with a boy last week! Ricardo (my photographer dad) shot it! The boy was his nephew, a seriously beautiful man. I was really nervous at first because I wasn't sure how to work with a guy, but it went very smoothly and I feel like the pictures turned out really cool! I don't have any edits yet, but I have a behind the scenes shot and will attach edits as soon as I get them!

I come home in a little less than two weeks, I am SO excited! I love LA and have been having so much fun with all of the people that I have met out here, but I am ready to be back in the mountains! We will start driving home the day after Thanksgiving. With only 2 weeks left, my schedule is filling up really quick as I am getting quite busy, which is really fun! Several clients want to use me and I am being considered for a really big magazine shoot right now! :D When I get home I have 2 runway shows in Aspen and one in Pueblo, then my life should slow down for a little bit. I'm trying to convince my parents to allow me to go to New York in January for my Christmas present and to meet with agencies out there! Either way, I am so excited for another beautiful Colorado Christmas. I will keep to date about my next two weeks here in LA! :)

P.S. I just created a Twitter and I have no idea how to use it, if anyone else has one follow me! :) My username is KassidyFischer

Under Water Shoot

Yesterday I felt like I was on America's Next Top Model. I did an under water mermaid shoot for Deborah Lindquist! We did the shoot in the photographer's friends' beautiful house. The house was so big that we actually thought it was an apartment building when we drove up to it!I attached a picture of the main room of the house. I would probably trade the studio my mom and I are living in for that house, just maybe!

I'm not a very good swimmer, at all. I have mastered the doggy paddle and that's about it. For some reason when I heard "under water shoot" I truly believed that all of my snorkeling and tubing experience would make me a really awesome swimmer! I was slightly wrong! My first issue is that I couldn't figure out how to get to the bottom with out floating up right away. I kept going under as fast as I could to popping up on the surface a few seconds later. Eventually the photographer realized my problem so she gave me a weight to hold me down. I literally almost drowned as I jumped into the water holding the 10 lb. weight, so the assistant swam over and took it from me. She's a little more water blessed than me! I think this was the hardest shoot I've ever done because it was so far out of my natural element, but I did have a lot of fun doing it! I eventually figured out that if I blow out all of my air I could stay down a little longer. To pose, it basically required anything that feels "foldy and awkward".  I had three beautiful outfits and got to work with another model form London who was absolutely amazing! I couldn't see for about 2 hours after the shoot because the water (salt water) was so harsh, but eventually some eye drops got my sight back and I survived! I did not get the chance to see ANY pictures, so I'm really anxious for them to get edited! I will post them as soon as they do :)

SOXXY :)

A while back I did a shoot for a brand called SOXXY. I think that they have the coolest socks on earth, and was so excited to model for them. If you would like to see my work and who they are, go to their website! http://soxxy.com/soxpert-kassidy/ I had so much fun working for them and I wear the socks that they gave me all of the time. I can't wait to work for them again one day! Thank you so much for everything Soxxy!

2 shoots in 1 day!

Today was super fun! I had 2 shoots today and worked with 7 photographers. One of the shoots was ran by a photographer from Aspen named Dove Shore...that's his REAL name! He was more of a short hairy man verses a dove,  but he rocks at photography so his name still works for him! He was running a workshop and I got to be one of the models for it. 5 photographers were taking the workshop so I had to pose so each of them could take a chance to get the shot that they wanted. There were all really nice and I made a lot of cool friends! The pictures turned out really cool from what I can tell! I took a picture of the pictures to give a sneak peak (these are not edited)

After my shoot with Dove I traveled down the coast where I got to do a shoot with my awesome friend Douglas Robert. We were just shooting for fun but we got a lot of really cool pictures from it! I'm excited to see the rest of them :D I attached a few pictures (unedited, pictures of pictures)

I can't wait to get all of the edits from today! Tomorrow I am doing a job for Deborah Lindquist. The shoot is going to be mermaid themed and is being photographed under water! I'm not the most gifted swimmer, but I'm still very excited! I have never done an under water shoot so it will be interesting to see how the pictures turn out!

Continuous Line Runway

Work, School, and Fun!

Hey! I wanted to thank everyone who's been reading my blog! I'm at 3,500 views which is so crazy! It means so much to me to have so much support to what I'm doing.

It's been over a week I have been so busy I haven't even had time to write in my blog, but I'm back :). This past week was super fun! I caught up in school a lot, went to castings, and had a lot of free time to just hang out! Last weekend my dad was in town and we went sailing with our family friends and it was sooo much fun! I also adopted a big brother which was nice :) We were out by San Pedro, it was so beautiful! There was a couple of near-death experiences where I was 99% sure I was going to roll off of the boat, but I made it through it! It was a bummer sending my dad home but he comes back in 2 weeks and I go home shortly after that!

Last Monday I met with an agency from South Korea and they want me to come out March-April 2013! I really hope it works out! I am SO excited! It's so amazing to even be able to consider an opportunity like that, I am so happy that I have such an amazing agent, family and friends backing me up on all of these crazy adventures!

Halloween was really awesome! My mom and I went to the Santa Monica "block party" along with 400,000 other people. My mom dressed up as a big baby and I dressed up as a barbie. We literally just walked the distance of the party and were pooped out! It was really funny sight-seeing all of the crazy costumes people came up with here! There was a big minion, a dragon, a giant wiener (which was quite the popular costume, don't worry I got a picture), and soooo many more! My personal favorite was the fat man dressed in nothing but a tutu...I thought it was gross, but funny!

My birthday is in one week and I am so excited to go to Disney Land with my best friend Jane and her mom, my mom and Ricardo!!

I had some big castings last week and I think the clients really liked me, I'm keeping my fingers crossed! I'll keep up to date about any new jobs.

Tomorrow I have two photo shoots and a LOT of homework, it should be a very busy day! I'm not too sure what all will be happening this coming week, but hopefully it will be a good one:)

My sister and her boyfriend are traveling Thailand right now! I hear they are having an amazing time exploring and can't wait to see them at Christmas. I love you Kailey!

iiJin, Jordan and Jane!

I had such a fun weekend! Jordan was here for school and stayed with me. We met through my old agency in Denver, and actually went to LA together last January! Jordan and Jane both came to the iiJin Runway show that I was in on Friday night. I was super nervous because I have never had a friend watch one of my runway shows before! For the show, I got pink high lights in my hair, they were so cool! The line was super cute and colorful so I had a lot of fun wearing the clothes! I am starting to get a lot of really close friends that are with my agency so back stage was rally fun! Here is a link to the show if you want to see it! https://www.yousendit.com/dl?phi_action=app/orchestrateDownload&rurl=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.yousendit.com%252Ftransfer.php%253Faction%253Dbatch_download%2526send_id%253D1765441439%2526email%253D36fd30bb22a93418a61f40a9c48682b7&s=19104&cid=tx-02002207350200000000
*Here is a picture of me and two other girls in the agency before our run through!

I feel like I did a pretty good job except my second outfit in the show didn't involve any pants and my dresser still made me walk the runway, hopefully my butt didn't freak anyone out! Every model has a boob or a butt fall out at some point in their career. It's a little embarrassing but I just laughed it off because we all have butts! The show was super fun and we all went to a wonderful dinner at the Cheese Cake Factory afterwards. I hope all 3 of us are roommates here in LA one day, we would have so much fun!

This weekend Jordan and I  had SO much fun! We basically just goofed around that entire time, accomplished absolutely nothing, but still managed to make a ton of memories in about 48 hours! Today we went to the beach and just relaxed:). Yesterday we went shopping for 5 hours and left with a cookie...we were a little bit grumpy. We watched Paranormal Activity 4 afterwards which was really scary but super fun! Then we walked around Hollywood, went hot tubbing, made some unique music videos, and went to bed! It's so great having those friends that you can be 110% yourself with while having so much fun!

I'm so lucky and blessed to have such great family and friends! There are going to be a lot of big changes this week, I'm a little nervous but really excited! I also can not wait to see my dad this weekend!! <3

LA Fashion Week Update

I will begin this blog by informing you that my feet are on the verge of falling off, and I am really, really tired, but also very happy about the successful past two days I have had! Two days ago (Monday) I worked with LA Market Week (LAMW). LAMW is basically a big shopping mall (or 3 sky riser buildings) located in down town LA filled with sample items from all of the top designers with their looks for the upcoming season. In this case, the clothes were all for Spring 2013. Big buyers for stores such as Sax Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Macy's, and so on are all there picking out the clothes that will be sold at their stores the following season. I was working with the Aaron Matthew LA Showroom which represents David Lerner, Henry and Belle, L.A.M.B, Sella & Jaime, and a few other AWESOME designer brands. My job was to put on all of the clothes that the buyers asked me to and let them decide rather or not they wanted that in their store. It was a lot of changing! I probably put on at LEAST 150 outfits, but the buyers bought basically every outfit I put on which was cool! It was a 9 hour day so I was ready for bed when I got home! It was really cool though because 3 of the designers represented by Aaron Matthew seemed to take a liking to me, and they got my information to model for ALL of them in the Spring! Hopefully that actually works out! One of the designers even wants to fly me out to NY to work for her..AHH! :)

Yesterday was even more of a whirlwind. I had a Runway show hosted by E! Entertainment and Melissa Rivers which was for the Fashion Business Inc. which featured the brands Johnny Was, Living Doll LA, Cool People, Sam & Lavi, Continuous Line, and a bunch more. I got to be in the opening segment for the show, so, I got to be dressed up like Betty Davis and walk the runway with a bunch of professional dancers and actors dancing around me and following me like paparazzi. I was told to do nothing but be a bitch, so I tried my hardest! There were a few moments where I was holding back laughter, but I made it through it which was good! :) The opening part was probably the most fun part of the entire show, but the runway part was pretty cool as well! I was being featured by 3 different designers, which were all back-to-back from each other, so my back stage experience was slightly hectic! I had hair and make up changes WHILE I was also changing clothes, which reminded how you can NOT be shy in this business! All of the outfits I got to wear were super cute! I had so much fun and Runway really is my favorite section of modeling because it has the most energy to it. I will post some pictures once I get them!

Before the show was pretty fun! I got to be interviewed by Melissa Rivers for E!, and I realized I need to work on my speaking skills a little bit! She asked me what my biggest beauty tip was and the only thing I could think of was  "Wash your face"...after realizing what I just said, I started laughing REALLY hard, and Melissa just stared at me until I calmed down to finish the interview. It was NOT my brightest moment, but it was super cool being interviewed by E!, and I think besides that the interview went pretty good!

There were cheerleaders at the show and they were waiting back stage. My friend Barnett Ohara and I were sitting by the back stage doors hanging out before the show and all of the cheer leaders started FREAKING out and taking pictures of us and asking for his autograph...apparently he's a big deal! He stars on the TV show Big Time Rush. After experiencing Barnett's moment of glory he told me to add him on Facebook, so I typed his name and about 30 Fan pages popped up along with countless Fake Facebook's of his. I was honored to have the REAL one add me :P.

After the Runway show my mom and I drove one of my agency photographers home because he lives right by us. On our way he encouraged us to stop at a place called "Sprinkles". It has a Cup Cake ATM!!! It was probably the coolest thing I have ever seen, and delivered the most wonderful Cup Cake I have ever had in my entire life! Literally. After out Cup Cake adventure we dropped him off at Jessie McCartney's house...seriously, only in Hollywood.

Here are some edited pictures from my shoot for SOXXY! :) Shot by the AMAZING photographer James Lozeau. THANK YOU SOO MUCH JAMES AND SOXXY!!!! :)

Basil Runway and More

Yesterday was an AWESOME day! I had a runway show in the morning for an upcoming brand called  Basil. I got to open and close the show, it was crazy! The outfits were stunning and I was so happy that I got a chance to wear them all! I also met a lot of pretty cool people when I was there! For some weird reason the lead make up artist took a liking to me before the show so I got to have her do my make up with cameras all around for a commercial she's making for her company! The actual show was more of a presentation. It was a big white square with people all around it. In the middle of the square was a pink tree made of candy. A model would walk down, circle the tree, stand in front of the tree until another model came down, then together they'd circle the tree, then the first model would move to the side and the process would continue until 4 models were around the tree, THEN they would alternate leaving the stage for the next set of models to do the same thing...sounds confusing, right? Well it was, mainly because we did not practice or even see the runway until we were walking it, so it made it kind of difficult! Somehow, however, we managed to complete the complicated runway task with out ONE error! It was pretty exciting! After my runway show my mom and I went down the street to a fitting I had for a runway show I am in next Friday. (My clothes for that one are SOOO cute! I will explain more next weekend after I do the show!) After the fitting we went to lunch and I had a Micky Mouse pancake, it was delicious. I was suppose to be in another runway show last night, but because the designer had a budget cut and could no longer pay the models, my agent would not let me be in it, so, my mom and I went and watched it! It was the first runway show I have ever been to in my entire life to just watch. I did wish I was up there walking with the other girls, but it was really fun to watch! After the show we went to a yummy italian place for dinner and came home and went to bed. Today I am having a school day (I'm currently on a break:). I'm excited for all of the adventures I have ahead of me for next week, and am once again so happy and blessed that I get to be on this CRAZY, amazing adventure :)

Mens LA Fashion Week Launch Party!

Good morning! I'm up and ready for a full day of school, but thought I'd tell my stories from last night first! It was a launch party in downtown LA. The place was really cool looking! I got hired for the job when sitting on a bench at a mall waiting for my mom; the founder of MLAF (Pamela) came up to me and asked if I would be interested in the job! I thought it sounded fun, so I immediately said yes and got all of her contact information. When I arrived last night, I had absolutely no idea what I was suppose to be doing and was a little bit shocked when I was told that I had to gather the name, title, and email address of everyone walking the red carpet and I also had to set up interviews with a TV station that was there and  introduce each celebrity guest to Pamela herself, who is a shorter woman who was walking around this HUGE party. My job was going to be a handful for the evening!

My number one concern about my job was that I have NO idea who any famous people are and tend to be slightly socially awkward. I had to pin-point the "important" people myself as they entered the party and find their publicist to gather their information. Occasionally I couldn't find the publicist for a given person so I would go up to them myself and ask if they were important, I got some crazy looks from that question! I went up to one man (who's name I do not remember) and asked his name...he gave me a shameful look and said it. I then asked for his "title", and all he could say was "Really?". Apparently he was a big deal! He said actor then continued to give me his information...but I don't think he liked me that much! :P

Through my awkward social skills, however, I made a lot of friends! By the end of the night I had all of the Red Carpet Guests finding me to give me a hug before they left! I even have a girl attempt to kiss me and ask me for my number at the end of the night...that was weird!

During the down time at the red carpet (everyone came within the first hour) I got myself in a little bit of mischief! Me and this body-guard-ish HUGE model had a interpretive dance contest...which we both rocked at! We did the lawn mower, the sprinkler, the window washer, and a bunch of other pro dance moves! I think he won when he went onto the floor and did the worm, however.
At one point I was REALLY thirsty and made the decision that I was going to travel across the entire venue to the bar to get myself some water. Along the way, I tripped over somebody's foot and fell into the ground, got up, and kept going. There was a huge group of people that I did not want to walk around so I figured I would climb over the convenient chair sitting between he people and the wall. As I was climbing over it my shoe (along with my whole foot) got stuck in a cushion. I was in a little ball trying to get it out, and got sent rolling onto the floor in between the big group as it got un-stuck, but once again, got up and continued on my journey for water. I was a little off-guard because of what just happened and ended up walking into a curtain, yanking it down, and once again falling onto my face. I was ready for my water when I finally made it to the bar.

Fashion parties are a place to network yourself. Because it was Mens fashion week, all of the designers at the event were for male clothing lines, so networking wasn't as possible for me as it was for all of the guy models there (I was the only girl model), but, I met a lot of great people and did make some good contacts which will hopefully benefit my career in the future!

Last night was REALLY something most high school girls don't do on a typical Thursday night, but it was super fun! I am so happy that I got to be apart of such a cool event and was able to have such a fun night! :)

*Here is a picture from before the party began of me and the check-in ladies!

Well...tonight was crazy! I was in charge of the Red Carpet at a premier party with Mens LA Fashion Week started by Pamela Williams. It was quite the adventure! I completely forgot that I was even in it until about 20 minutes before my call time. When I remembered,  I was getting ready to have a relax night in my pajamas with a face mask on... I was a tid bit flustered and stressed as you could probably imagine! I was cutting it  super close on time, But I would never not show up to a job, so I some how made it! I'm falling asleep..so my crazy line of stories will continue in the morning :)

LA Fashion Week show #1!

Today was super busy! This morning I did a roof-top shoot in Hollywood for a National Sock brand called SOXXY! It was super fun and I got to keep all of the socks that we shot in so I was pretty excited! :) After my shoot I had a little break then went down town LA where I was in a show for LA Fashion week! It was a show for Odylyne and was really fun! It wasn't like the typical runway-instead it was a presentation where we were in a circle and rotating in and out with new outfits. The designer did the show like that so the photographers could have a chance to get as many pictures as they wanted of each outfit. After my show my mom and I went to lunch and went back to the condo for a little bit. I had a fever so I REALLY didn't feel good so I didn't eat at lunch...so we hung out until I felt a little better then went and got noodles. After dinner/lunch we went to 24 Hour Fitness and worked out then came back to the condo and I did school for the rest of the night. I am sleepy! Today was so much fun though and I am so happy and blessed that I am able to be out here doing this!!:)
P.S. I attached a picture from today above:)

I got to spend the day with my best friend and big sister Kailey before she leaves for her big trip to Thailand! I am going to miss her so much! The whole Fischer family won't be reunited until December 23, it's going to be a super good day when we are all together again! Kailey and my mom joined me on my fitting this morning for a show I have tomorrow in LA fashion week! Then we traveled down to Santa Monica and had a really fun day just hanging out:). I'm excited for tomorrow and am so glad today was so much fun! I wish my dad was here with us today! Miss you dad!

Promo Video

A promo video is basically a video that clients see so they can book you with out you having to meet them in person first. I was so nervous because I've never done something like this before! It took about two hours and was really laid back and fun, I feel like it's what acting would kind of feel like! I shot this video in Jesse McCartney's house! ( It was filmed by the awesome Thomas Ruel) It was about two weeks ago but I finally got it in today. My make up artist was his sister who was sooo sweet and talented so I was really happy that I got to meet her! I actually got to meet a lot of Jesse's family, it was super interesting to see that they really are just normal people! VERY down to earth! It was such a cool experience and I hope it helps with direct bookings in the future!
P.S. I attached the video above:)

Beach day!

Today was so much fun! I finally had a day off, so we went to the beach with my really good friend Jane and her family!! The cool thing about Jane is we were best friends when we were little, drifted apart,  and re-connected this summer through dance. We are really good friends now and were so excited to find out that we were both moving to LA on the SAME day and living only 20 minutes from each other!!! It's so great having people both me and my mom know here because then the city isn't so lonely! Tomorrow I have a casting and a fitting 2 blocks away from where the President will be tomorrow..should be busy!
